Hey guys...

My name is Richard and here is my story: I am fourteen years old and an active part of my church youth group. Every other year, my church takes a missions trip to Guatemala. I've been dreaming about this opportunity of a lifetime ever since I heard about it, and I truly have yearned for this trip and another great opportunity to serve God.

I have worked odd jobs, including running errands for neighbors, petsitting, lawnmowing, bakesales, fundraising, and more, and such for a couple years now and have garnered a couple hundred dollars. However, I need about $2500 to pay for the full expenses. The trip is going to occur in April (during Spring Break) and I've been sooooo thrilled. However, the question of paying for the expenses still remains. Furthermore, my parents have faced a sad twist of events: my dad has recently been laid off from his manufacturing job, and my mom is disabled with several debilitating herniated discs and I cannot work because I am underage... so it is virtually impossible to get money from them when our family needs the money for necessities. I've been asking around, and many have told me to reach other Christians who may be able to help me online.
